I just acquired a 95 Bayliner Sport Jet 120 with a seized engine. I haven’t been able to find a replacement engine for it and was wondering if anyone knows of a different engine, whether it be 2 stroke or 4 stroke, that would work in its place?? Or has anyone converted to outboard?? Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

That is a 4 cylinder force 2 stroke power head with a few modifications done to it to use it as a jet drive , the force setups were 3 cylinder 90 hp and the 4 cylinder one you have.
Check with www.sbtontheweb.com and see if they can rebuild it for you, good luck they had serious electrical issues that would blow the electronic brain when you shut it off due to an electrolytic capacitor going bad on the charging system and the magnets were known to come loose in the flywheel as well, they told people they made a new stator to fix the problem with the brain but it did not solve the problem I replaced the capacitor with a real voltage regulator from a jet ski and that solved the problem, I put up posts many years ago regarding all this so do a search .
