A core sample from my hull

You know how there is a ton of assembly remnants that show up in the bilge? Well behold, the cut out for one of the pee holes. It actually doesn't look wetted out fully to me although it's solid. 0.230" thick. Just a hair under 1/4".

it doesnt look fully wetted out because its probably like a boat i restored a few years ago, on the outter hull sides only it had a thick mesh type lining between the layup that doesnt suck up resin. I tried lol!

Here is a core sample from the swim deck of my 230 where I added cup holders. It is 3/4 thick with a thin layer of gel coat and 3/8s each of fiberglass and plywood. The hydro teak is an additional 1/4.
