Adaptive / Photochromic Window Tint?

Has anyone ever used, or heard it being used on a boat. a "photochromic tint" like this? Like a "transitions" lens on glasses, apparently it's dark in the sun and nearly clear at night. I need this for my Tesla sunroof. I love the panoramic view but the heat is intense, tinting the glass will solve that issue but I will lose the view at night/evening.

Pretty cool. I’m sitting in a tint shop right now getting my son’s car tinted.
I don’t remember what film I had My boat done with about 7-8 years ago but it blocks a lot of heat through it.
I’ve been testing the heat lamp in here, I’m going to ask if I can buy some of the clear film that I’m getting on the car windshield so I can put it on my camper’s windows. I think that will help a lot with the heat in the camper.
