I'm planning to replace the OEM locked down Wet Sounds amp with two new amps. I plan to run 1/0awg cable for power and ground and use distribution blocks to reduce to 4awg for each amp. Where is the best place to connect power and ground? I've done amp installation many times in vehicles but not a boat. Should I connect directly to the posts of the house battery? I also found house and ground bus bars in the engine compartment but I'm not sure if these can supply a load up to 200A. I haven't looked but I'm thinking there may be a ground bus under the helm but once again is this sufficient for this application?

I have x2 house batteries ran in parallel, I run a 0AWG positive to the positive terminal of one of the house batteries which then goes to a perko switch then to a positive bus bar under the helm. My two amps each get power from their own 4AWG wires going to that bar. I run the 0AWG negative wire from the other house batteries negative terminal, into a smart shunt, then to a negative bus bar located next to the positive bar under the helm. The amps negative 4AWG connects to the negative bus bar. My positive and negative wires are crimped and connected to the batteries with the terminal bolts that were provided with the batteries.
