So my boat keeps costing me money, at least this time its wife requested and approved.

Wanting to add tower speakers and probably getting the Rev8's. Can those mount in the factory mounts with the hardware that comes with them or will I have to design something. Looks like the come with the Bar mounting setup. Already have a JL amp, Fusion Head unit and Garmin GPS on the way.
All those years doing Home and Car audio will get to benefit our Scarab.

I searched the threads and could not find anything on the actual mounting.

Mine are mounted exactly where the kickers were. It took a little work to drill wholes to match the bolts and whatever but it worked out well

Same here. Just drilled holes in metal plates to match those on tower bolts. I just used a vice and old mounts as template. Easy.

Good enough. Thanks guys. Mine had no factory wake bar speakers so was just checking. Appreciate the help

Did you guys use some big metal screws or can I buy some nuts like the factory had in the tower to bolt too?

Pulled my old stereo today and found all the wiring plus extra wires for LEDs. Looks like I can use one of the factory holes and just redrill the second.

Ended up drilling and taping the wake tower. Speakers are up now. Thanks

Tower speakers are very easy to install. If you have the premium sound package it is allready wired for lighted speakers. The wires are inside the tower just remove the rubber plug where the speaker would go, it may take a little work to get them out. The wiring for the tower needs to be plugged in and is located in the port gunel. The bolster is very easy to remove, lift the engine hatch, then look at the very bottom of the bolster and there are 3 tabs with screws. Remove these screws and there is an access hole. This is also how to access your tower mounts. Just plug the stereo connector hanging down from tower into harness right there. If your not installing lighted speakers make sure those wires are secured and are covered. The towers are allready drilled and tapped, the holes have plastic plugs in them.Hopefully this will help.
