Any Early Bronco Enthusiasts?

Weeb. I knew a guy when I was in the AF that we called “Weeb”. Can’t remember why though?
I bet he wishes he still had it. My first one was a ‘72 in high school. Tore that truck up! Love it. Always wanted another one then my wife surprised me with her saying, “yea, they’re cute. Let’s build two. One for me and one for you”. Gotta love a woman like that!
You should check out Icon Broncos. But don’t tell your buddy what they are going for now. He’ll be SUPER PISSED!!
lol. I know what they go for now. We all have regrets for some of the ones we sold. We drove that Bronco from Ma to Fl and back to see our buddy graduate from the navy boot camp when we were 19. By the time we got home both tanks were empty and we had 65 cents to split a pack of smokes. My biggest regret selling was my 73 Firebird Formula with a 455. I found out years later they only made 504 of them. I loved that car it out handled a 77 vette I had.
oh yeah I was never in the Af lol almost though.

If we only had the cars we had back in the day....the Bronco, a 70 1/2 Z-28, ‘79 and an ‘80 Z-28, Volkswagen bus, ‘72 Chevelle, ‘79 911 SC, 355 Ferrari....wish I still had the Bronco, the 70 1/2, the bus and the 911. All of those cars are pulling huge premium!

Heck, any older 911 in decent shape is an easy $30k and I sold that car for $14,000 in ‘95! The buses are outrageous right now and I had $500.00 in that AND a split window bug. Older Ferrari’s don’t hold great value in the 355/360 models but you can get out of them what you paid on a used market, usually. Chevelle’s are too common anymore and most of the early 70’s Z’s are soo butchered or incomplete that it is not worth it to restore them anymore.

My next car to find will be a ‘75-‘78 Trans-Am. If it’s decent, keep it Pontiac, if it’s rough LS swap and drive it like it was stolen! East Bound and Down!!!

The sweet spot for me is ‘78 and ‘79. I had a ‘79 it’s the first gen full size. 351W, 35” tires on about a 3” lift. Versatile and cool as hell.

Lol. I’m a Pontiac guy I have 68 gto convertible all original and I still find my self looking at 70-73 and 77-78 Trans Am’s I don’t like the nose on the middle years. I think 77 or 78 was the last year for the Pontiac 400 and you only got it with a stick.
