So the wife and I considering cruising the ICW with our 242 Limited in early May. The idea right now is to tie up in a marina on a transient slip and then set the tent up and with queen size air mattress, either in the bow or stern (still working out the best spot) and camp on the boat. Any suggestion or things we need to consider.
 
I cant help much, but I plan to camp out in mine this year as well. I'll follow your thread. I have the two extra cushions in the bow that makes the entire bow a bed basically. That's where I'll be sleeping. Not sure if that's an option for your boat. Mine is a 2012. In the meantime, I found this on ebay. Not sure how many of them are out there.

 
We thought about it. We were just going to put the 19'x29' tarp from HF over the boat and call it home.
