for their winterization? Here in South Carolina we have pretty mild winters. I am wondering if anyone has an experience with this? Recommendations? Pitfalls?

I am thinking of winterizing with MMO instead of fogging oil and was hoping for suggestions.

TIA

Ive used it before in a chaparral stern drive with no problems. Haven’t used in the Yamaha yet.

Poured into the gas filter. It’s the size of a small oil filter

I've sprayed it in the cylinders and through breather until it bogged down,

I think on your model they have a fogging port in the fuel line, I think your manual should give you instructions,

I actually had to take the air cleaners off to fog. I’ll definitely check for the fogging port. Taking the air cleaners off was a pain

Did you mean the 2017 LS E series has fogging ports? If so, could you help please with the location?

I’ve used MMO in all my skis for winterizing - both 2 stroke and 4 stroke (including built Honda Aquatrax F12x) and have had no issues. I’ll be using it in my 212X too. Only warning I’ll give is in the newer applications if they have a air flow sensor make sure you are downstream. It can foul the sensor.
