I wish I was in a position to consider buying one of these.

Note the special endorsement by Capt. Sig of Deadliest Catch at the end of the video.

That is the coolest thing I've seen all week. Wow.

You know what's worse than putting a boat cover on a boat on a trailer? Putting a boat cover on a boat on a hoist.

... Wondering how to adapt this to my trailer. That's the 'job' I really dislike is taking off the cover and putting it back on.

Someone who owns a boat was looking at a dump truck cover and thought AH HA...

This would change my life!!!

EDIT: Prices starting at $6,999......well crap....

I'm pretty tall so that may be why it didn't bother me as much, but I roll it up and fold in 3 over the bow cushion, and reverse to install, tying the bow point to the bow, and just pulling back while on the boat.

I don't see this helping that much over what I do. Even at 10% of the price.

For this much you can buy a metal enclosure to store the boat, and maybe have some money left over for fuel...

$6999? Really? I thought it was the best idea next to a lift for storage on the water...until I saw the price. It is a very good idea, but they have to work on the price. I liked the comparison to a gravel hauler @Scott E . But a gravel hauler goes down the road in one direction, so that the bed cover has wind from only one direction for the most part. I wonder how this will perform with gusty thunderstorms or more? Still, a very good idea and I like it!

Super cool! BUT, I built a two boat barn for less! Wow

@beachbum , I have to agree about the price. I built a 24'x24' metal R panel covered wooden pole barn, concrete floors, 30' concrete drive approach, and rear approach, for less than the cost of this.

Looks awesome but I'd want to see how well it works with a stiff crosswind before I drop that kind of $

...and have all the parts made out of gold.

Great concept - though I find it suspicious that most of the video's cut out right before the cover is fully on. In order to really make this work it needs to be in 2 stages. 1. putting the cover over the boat 2. drawing the cover tight around the boat. This accomplishes step 1 fairly easy but with a modification of some sort of draw tight pulley to cinch the cover tightly on the boat that would make this awesome and more prone to say add to a trailer for towing.

Pretty sure you can have an awning made for that kind of $.
