Hello all, Looking for some ideas. I like to tinker with things before I let a pro work on them.
So we have a 98 Tracker jet drive, inboard.
This season we are having trouble with it starting and stalling out right away. If we can get the throttle going a little you can catch it and it will run. Once in neutral it stalls.
I cleaned the carbs best i could. I did not fully remove them but sprayed cleaner up in them. The bulbs looked really clean. We had it serviced 2 years ago.
The engine is 98 Mercury 120 hp. I tried to locate the fuel filter but was not sure what it should look like. Would love to learn more about the engine.

thoughts.

Thanks for the help.
Bob
