I have an SX195 with a Bimini top. The forward clip down Straps on the Bimini Top are putting enough downward stress on the canvas to begin tearing out the canvas seams below the straps.
Has anyone come up with an elegant solution to prevent this downward load on the canvas.
I do not trailer with the top up.

Do you have a picture? Straps should pull on the frame, not the fabric. The fabric is stretched by the frame being pulled by the straps.

My replacement Stitching is rough ( not much of a tailor)....but holding for now
