Black Friday Boat Deals?

I don't know if the price was black friday related...but for a 7" touchscreen Garmin Echomap 70s...$514 with free shipping pulled the money out of my wallet! Combine that with the Ultimate Cobras, the new stereo, the new LED lighting...next year I am back in action fully equipped!

I should add that this one comes with the dual beam transducer, water temp, and US inland lakes!

@txav8r i ordered the same echomap 70s just got an email earlier saying it was back ordered, did yours ship? Tx

Nope, it's backordered, but only a few days they said. At that price, I can wait! That is one nice chartplotter for that kind of money!

@ACRDSPORT14 ,and that is one nice vehicle too! I called them at the GPSstore...it shipped yesterday as the backorder indicated it would be back in stock yesterday. Will be here Monday. One question...where do you mount the transducer on a hovercraft...and how do you read through ice? lol Half joking and half serious!

@txav8r Using it only for the mapping part, no need to use the fish finder or care about depth's ;) I never use the fish finder on my other boat, sea hunt center console, my sx190 will be getting a garmin echomap 70 if i can mount it nicely somehow.

I was beginning to think that thing could measure ice thickness! It is a great map! The touch screen takes any chart plotter to a new level. Having had the Garmin 431S, I know first hand the slow and tedious process of going from screen to screen. The touch screen will be a whole 'nother ballgame!

great thing about a hovercraft, it doesn't matter if the ice breaks or how thick it is ;)

Leaving in 2 weeks to pick it up.

Where was the thread on it...that thing was awesome! But...expensive I am sure, and not much of a place for using it around here.
