I explained in another thread how I store my boat so I figured I would snap a pic for those that are curious.

Wax coat on that will stay on all winter, Rv antifreeze in, fogged motors, damp rid hanging behind helm and in under seat compartments, all seats out, seafoam in gas tank, everything out of the boat, and cover on in its tent for the winter.

I like the tent, what is it?

She looks clean. I dropped mine off yesterday and was happy when the person who owns the storage facility asked if the boat was brand new. It's a lot of work to prep it properly for the winter.

So sad to see everyone winterizing....on a positive note...Shelbyville is only nine months away

$800. to have it protected from the elements on your own property is well worth it,

@jcyamaharider, out of curiosity what kind of wax do you use?
This go around I used sea sense wax that I had laying around. This killed the bottle. I am not too picky with wax. I am, however, picky with cleaning the boat in the summer. I usually wash the boat after each outing with Maguire's car wash and hot sauce the whole boat. Some times I have to acid wash the hull to remove river ring, but it is usually spotless. I also use the spray conditioner and cleaner on the interior from boat bling.

Yep. Put mine to sleep this weekend.

Not a current pic, but not much has changed:

Boats to the back and snow shovels front and center! Seasons change too quick.

Got mine all squared away for winter. Here's to hoping El Nino will bring some rain to California and a mild winter to us!

So my boat is in a storage unit for the winter. Would you store it with the cover on or off? I was thinking to leave it off just to let any moisture in it anywhere dry out. Thoughts?

Any chance of rodents? If not, I'd leave it off....or at least open on the ends for air flow.

That looks way easier than my storage situation, where did you find the tall tent?

That's the pole barn at my family's getaway on the Mississippi. Quite the toy box. My Parent's two boats in front, and my pop up camper tucked behind the pontoon. And yes, I keep the cover on tight to keep Mickey and Minnie out.
