I'm picking up this '18 242 Limited S-E at the end of March. I'm not an original thinker and would love some suggestions for the registration number font. Winner gets to see their design on this beauty! Boatletteringtoyou, etc., something I can order online. Thanks!

FWIW, I really like the domed letters from JBP. I got lots of compliments and will be getting them for my next boat.

Check out the video @wallacerb put out about decals.

I went with Eurostar font, which is virtually identical to the font used for the '242 Limited S' on the tower.

I tried to match the font of the wording on the boat. Going to any local sign shop with a pic of your boat, and they can match font and color.

That being said, the raised letters do look amazing on these things.

I know you already "have a winner" but I saw these 3D style "bubble" letters on a members boat in Ft Lauderdale - liked 'em enough to take a picture!

Wife made us custom letters to match the AR190 further back in the Yamaha Logo. I thought they looked pretty decent on our Black/White Hull.

These are the domed letters. Hard to get the full impression from a 2d picture.

Here is what I did. Tried the best I could to match the color of the grey graphics/hull of the boat.

I just put mine on yesterday, got them from JBP, and I love them, couldn’t be happier, they turned out really nice. The pictures look ok but in person they just look amazing.

Something a bit different. Things are tight on the back of a 242 with the lower seat backs so I had a new set of covers made with custom embroidery to match the boat.

Totally awesome idea. Love it!!! You’re so right, almost no space on the back of a 242.

I really like this idea. Where did you have these made?
