Boat ramp etiquette

I think I’m at the ramp too much lol

Relatively normal day on 3 trips to the ramp. Just one older group of people, backed down middle of ramp. They had absolutely no idea what they were doing. Took them 15 minutes to figure out the tow straps. Wasn’t too busy so was more comical than frustrating.
I can’t believe you were laughing at me bro…?

One of the things I look forward to when I finally retire. Golf cart, cooler of beer, parked on side of boat ramp for Saturday afternoon entertainment ?
You could then start your own YouTube channel! ?

I've often wondered about that. This year I need to teach my wife to drive the boat in case of emergency, because its just the 2 of us. She won't even back her car into the garage. Backing the trailer is never going to happen.
We started our routine so many years ago I can't remember when. I am 72 and my wife is 67. Our routine is that I back the boat down the ramp while she stays in the boat. She gets it off the trailer and takes a short spin before returning back to the dock to pick me up. One of her greatest joys is to take that first drive of the season, sometimes I have to wait at the dock for a while so whe can take an extended run outside of the wakeless area. She is a bit nervous about getting a new 22 FSH Sport E and the difference betweeen an I/O and a jet.
