We're enjoying three days of boating on Lake Shasta in California - tomorrow is likely the last boating day of the season though.

This is actually a great time of year for boating. The lake has been flat due to very light winds, and hardly any other boats to make wakes. Air temperatures have been in the 80s mid-day. It's been perfect.

The only downside is we sucked up the tow tube rope today which terminated boating about an hour early. I pulled the pump and we're all ready for one more day of boating.

This is what was still left on the port pump after we spent about 1/2 hour cutting away with a knife through the clean out port plus diving under the boat. It took less than 1/2 hour to pull the pump, clean it up, and reinstall it. Ready for tomorrow now.

Ha! You wrapped that one up tight.
Good to hear from you again. It has been awhile.

Hi buckbuck, yes I've not been on the forums for a while but have been boating. Just busy with life, especially the six year old with soccer, karate, and cross country.

We actually did quite a bit of boating this summer. The boat has been great as usual but the trailer continues to require maintenance.
