And why don't these boats have variable trim nozzles? the video didn't address that--seems like they'd benefit?

Seadoo had it for some time on some jet skis. Turns out electric motors don't like getting wet, and there are some loses due to friction and redirection of water.

Trim tabs work for me, I don't need my bow higher, just lower.

Yes, I had a SeaDoo with vertical adjustment of the thrust--you could make that thing jump out of the water. I'm kinda surprised nobody has done a mod for that on the boats.

The e versions are using electric motors to control the gates the adjustable trim would probably be great for surfing. I was up surfing as soon as you get near the jet wash it can blow the board away. They probably cant do both adjustable trim and reverse it works on the jet ski do to the size

It's all time and money, saw someone send pictures of their pump part replicas from their own Mill and it looked fenomenal not a month ago. I bet it could be done for 2-3k. But it's a good chunk of change.

Maybe even rotate the current nozzle 90 degrees and use a rudder system for steering instead.
