Bought 165 id yesterday and now having weird problems when we hit 5 hours

I bought a new 165 I’d with the 300 ace in it. We got to 5 total hours on it today using correct break in procedure.( this is not my first new boat). About 2 minutes after we hit 5 hours we had the throttle stop working until you pulled it to idle then throttled up again. It happened randomly for about 10 minutes then we got a check engine light. Idk where to even start.

Well, before we start spending tons of time troubleshooting... don't you have a dealer? You should start there. They can WAY better diagnose than us remotely. It's brand new.... check engine lights come with codes. Codes are in the settings if they are active.

Dealer didn’t even walk us the the boat they aren’t alit of help. My brother in law is a can an dealer so when they open tomorrow we are going to use his brp scanner I just wanted to see if anyone has had this and what the problem was
