Putting the pump back together after installing the L13 cone, went to tighten the bolts that connect the bucket to the linkage when the arm snapped. Didn't realize the link was that fragile, my mistake. Has anyone had this happen and know how to replace? Not sure of what parts need to be ordered or how to go about fixing this one. Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

Just order one for me.
CCX63318 by Seastar.
My cable snapped somewhere in-between

It seems I ordered two from PartsPak as I went looking for PN#. Its was $51 bucks each

to add more color, what you snapped was the reverse gate cable. Probably some rust contributed to the weakening of it. With the weekend so close, you may or may not be able to get a new cable by the weekend. To replace that, you need to remove and reinstall the entire control cable. Not hard, but it will take a little effort. perhaps an hour or 3 of work, but getting your hands on the cable is the immediate need for a replacement.

With a die you could re thread at the cable end, then you could attempt to thread on the remaining thread of your existing cable, and adjust some at the helm to save the weekend.

Or, after re-threading, add a coupling and a screw to lengthen/replace the piece you broke temporarily. This same thing happened to me but on the helm end on a different boat, and I got a coupler and a bolt from Ace Hardware, and after re threading the cable and was able to rig it, but at the helm/binacle end (if fact pretty permanently, I rigged it for a whole 2 seasons before I went back to replace the cables since the repair held so well)

Best of Luck!

Thanks for all the info! Didn't know it was the entire cable, thought this pice was separate. Looks like the part number is F2A-U149C-00-00 for $115 from Yamaha/Riva OEM. Is the Seastar cable the same for $50 or should I order one from Yamaha?

Might attempt to rethread for this weekend if that is a viable solution, just don't want to be dead in the water.

I'll have one for sale once I get it. I order two by accident.
Sea Star / Teraflex are OEM with Yamaha $$ from what others have said on subject

Thanks for the offer, I have a lead on one locally so hopefully I can get one before the weekend. If not, I will let you know.

18' is the correct length for the 190 right?
