Hello,
New to the forum and the jet boats. I have a scarab 195 and I've already noticed that they went cheap on the switches. A few of them broke so far but was able to get replaced by the dealer. Most recently the blower switch has broke and the dealer can not find the switch. Its a Carling 6 connection on/off switch. Does anyone know where to buy a replacement. I have been searching with no luck. I've tried going straight to Carling but you have to order a minimum of 50 or something crazy like that.
Thank you
Tom

Thank you for your reply. I'll look into that one. I have 2021 and most of them broke the same way. The plastic threads just snap off and the switch falls through the dash board. I now work part time at the dealership and I have replaced multiple switches on the new boats. Even prior to people buying them.

lol so weird... how do they just "snap off"? I mean, there has got to be some sort of pressure to have things snap off like that no?

It just seems to be really flimsy. The first switch that broke was the courtesy lights and I had only used them once or twice. The ones I replaced on new boats appear to be that they leave the nut in the switch when they push it flush to the back of the dash board. Then they use the decorative but to fasten it to the front. Seems to cause to much play and the plastic just breaks when using the switch. My first switch broke with 3 hours on the boat. And I baby this thing. Just short of wiping it with a diaper.

And the switch you sent is a 5 pin momentary. Im bad with electric so I'm not sure what to do with the 6th wire.

Here is the switch

Don't get me wrong. I'm in love with scarab. Everything is made so well and the detail put into them is second to none. I just wish they used metal switches verses plastic. The boat is an absolute tank otherwise.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate your help. I'm used to being the one helping people on the jeep forums. I feel like such a newbie now.

LT-2511-601-012 that's the part number from Carling. Just in case someone asks in the future. I called them and send them pictures.
