Can't get stoltz bow roller on

I ordered a stoltz bow roller for my boat from jetbotpilot but it seems to not fit. It hits the bow eye but not the hull.

My hull hangs about an inch over the back of the bunks and the old roller seemed to be fine.

Has anyone needed to adjust their winch stand for just changing rollers?
