Carburetor Rebuild

I do get 45 47 mph..i dont feel much of the lost power the only problem i have is 1st start of the day it realy strugglea after that everything is fine.oh lots of vibaration.. as of right now i jave the boat at dealer but they havent got back at me with the quote yet.. i plan to make this baby like new juring the winter.i wish it would fit in my garage id do it myself but it doesnt.

Weird thought here.... Those problems don't sound like Dead cylinder problem. Hard start but runs fine and reaches top speed does not sound like Dead cylinder.

I have a humble cheap suggestion. Get a spray with fuel oil mixture and spray it on the carbs on next hard start. If it starts right away it's a fuel issue.

Carb rebuilds were notoriously difficult for me to get perfect after much tinkering. My seadoo had 1 carb per engine, so i bought them from mikuni new for $200. But i only had 2 carbs.

I bet the issue you describe is fuel related.

But the test compression was reading 0 and 120 on the pther 2

Any chance that zero was a misread? I would think engine would be weaker with a dead cylinder.

It wasnt a miss read i did it twice on all 3 and same 120 .0 120

Wow. Very surprised you have such great performance with a dead cylinder. Might still be worth a try if you want to go out before you rebuild it.

2 adults on the tube and 5 on board...i know its wierd ..how much oil does it use per gas tank..
