Sold my 2006 King Ranch F250 6.0 as my buddy needed it for his son’s business. I really don’t drive my personal cars much so I went for a gas F150, this one has the 6.2L with 411 hp and 434 ft.lb. of torque. Need to put springs on the rear as the boat is tongue heavy and the 150 has a softer suspension than the 250 did. This one had 51k on it and it is spotless. It is a Platinum, so it is loaded.

Looks nice!
I would check the tongue weight and see where it is. Many have the boat too far forward and need to adjust the bow stop.
Some would also note that f150 comes with a class 3 reciever which means max of 5000 lbs and 500 lbs on ball. Putting fuel in the boat will get you there and "technically" would need a weight distribution hitch.
Mostly i am jealous though! My 2004 f150 with a 5.4 doesn't exactly have bells and whistles so that truck will be nice!

Will check for adjustments - the trailer is specific to the boat so I’m not really sure if there is an adjustment. Thankfully the boat ramp is about 300 yards from my driveway.

Here is a thread that may be useful to you. https://jetboaters.net/threads/15-240-242-tongue-weight.9957/ I dont know if you have the MFI or Shorelander under your boat, but you may be able to move the bow stop back a couple of inches to reduce tongue weight.

You can put fox 2.0 shocks on it, instead of add a spring. The factory shock sucks, you can compress it with you pinky. I just put these on my truck the other day. As matter of fact, I put them on my last 3 trucks. 20190501_131409.jpg

I think that’s what Roush uses on their trucks

Roush I think uses the 2.5 Reservoir . You are correct 2.0 1250.00, with the coilovers. These are 130 per shock. fox 2.0 IFP and just rears from American Truck.
They work great, and are very difficult to compress and install by yourself. I install the bottom and pull the shock down while someone puts the bolt in at the top. If its on a lift with the rear axle dangling, it is a far shorter distance to compress. I get no drop in the rear from the trailer. I thought I would go bags years ago with the first f150 (2015). I found these that remove the bed hop from the f150 and it also helped with rear sag.

I just got a 2018 f150 fx4 which has a stiffer shock but I can still feel the boat bouncing a lot. Fortunately I only tow 5 miles a couple times a year. I have thought about the air bags or the Roush upgrade down the line. It would be nice to just do the Roush setup. Their exhaust sounds awesome too with the cold air intake.

yeah the fx4 shock which I have had on all my trucks does nothing. The 260 dollars for the fox 2.0 shocks are totally worth every penny. Takes away the bed hop, and makes towing awesome. Like I said I have only done the rears. I have never taken my trucks off road and bashed them.20190507_112723.jpg
