Has anyone ever changed the wear ring in a Glastron 187 gts yet. I was wondering if it was complicated. I read if you lose a bit of power it can be the wear ring. My boat is a 2014
Definitely can be. Take a look in there and see if your impeller is dinged or pitted or anything, can be that as well. Changing is should be pretty much the same as and 4tec powered boat, I believe they just use all the same stuff.
It's not that hard, you can find video's on youtube for the replacement. One tip, put the assembly in the freezer, and it makes getting the ring out easier. You can get the ring from pwcmuscle.com
