Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
I did this mod last year and never posted about this. If your are like me and too cheap to play for a Yamaha cover this is a easy alternative. I bought a 22-24’ cover off of Amazon($109). Then I marked and cut slits where the tower bolts on and reinforced the cuts so they wouldn’t rip and added button snaps from Walmart(maybe $5–10). I added stainless safety pins to the bungee string that goes around the outside to clip together. All in all easy mod for $120.
