As you know, the FSH has the fuel pump access panel right underneath our feet while we are at the wheel. I never felt right standing on it. It is kinda squishy and slippery. I really like the seadek pad, but was determined to find a cheap option.

So I picked up a 3' x 3' anti fatigue perforated rubber commercial restaurant mat at Home Depot and cut it to fit. Then I used the scraps to go into the storage under our jump seats. Keeps stowed items put and off of the floor when water gets in there.

Helm pad feels awesome... I've been using it for a year without any deck staining.

$25 for mat. It cuts like butter w a sharp utility knife.

Nice mod. I also use an anti-fatigue mat. Don't forget to store away when trailering! Or it's bye bye pad. Mine almost flew away before I pulled over when I remembered it was still on deck.

This pad has holes and it is heavy. Doesn't fly away.

Not like seat cushions!
Thanks to @Grover70 for that tip!
Remove the front cushion while towing. Lol
