Cipa mirror owners beware

After one season of use, my mirror adhesive failed as well and I discovered the mirror shattered on the floor one morning.

That sucks, I zip tied mine on. I was lucky it didn't shatter, just a corner broke off.

Sounds like a job for 3M 5200. Set it and forget it.

The adhesive failed on mine after a few seasons as well. Fortunately I discovered the mirror in one piece on the carpet. I'm pretty sure I used Gorilla brand mounting tape to reattach it and didn't have any further issue. Sounds like a common defect. I loved the mirror otherwise.

I had the same issue! I reattached with new tape but it failed again and shattered my mirror. Called CIPA and they sent a new one. Should I take mirror off and use 3m 5200? Probably going to detach mirror everytime.
