So after removing the shrink wrapping and conducting a general inspection of the boat after this winter I noticed there were some type of deposits in the cleanout plug tubes. . . . It looked very similar to hard water/calcium deposits but was softer to the touch then that.
I am going to try to clean them up with a soft bristle (brass maybe) brush unless someone has an alternative approach.
Is there something I can coat the metal part of the tubes with to prevent this?
