Ok guys/gals,

Working on the stereo upgrade and was wondering if anyone replaced their old CDM8 (POS) head unit with any of the Fusion units? Was wondering without having to go out to the storage lot and look at the unit itself, if removing the CDM8 and adding a Fusion MS-RA670 would fit over the cutout. Dont mind making the cut out bigger to fit the fusion but dont want the cut out to big for it either. I really like the 670.

Any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

What is the CDM8 doing wrong?
I’m running that same unit with multiple WS amps, WS speakers, WS sub and Rockford Fosgate towers. System PUMPS!
Adding the WS eq this spring and 2 more transom speakers.
I’ve considered changing head unit to WS or JL unit. But the Clarion is doing everything it’s supposed to.

@octavio3311, Hey Bud...Yeah it's a long love-hate relationship with that HU .. its my second one and I'm ready to move on to something a bit more current and modern. Just dont like the interace, functions and mine is glitchy/touchy and not in a good way LOL.
You Definitely have yours set up to a sweet system.
