Went out today to try out the new cobra fins and jet pump. I loved everything but I noticed my steering was a little stiff. Works fine out of water with little resistance. If it's just me where is the best place to order new steering cable?

After learning that you installed a very nice looking set of the early design stainless steel fixed steering that I sold for many years it is quite normal to get some steering feedback from those at high speed so yes it is supposed to be a bit heavier than it was stock.
Unfortunately those were not adjustable like the newer styles nor can you add the fangs for power steering or increased reverse control so The new steering cables will hopefully help and were most likely due based on the year of your boat. at the end of the day you will however get a lot more control of your boat than you had with no added steering and since you purchased them used you probably got a great deal on them, that style was out around the time your boat was new and they look like new.
