On our previous 2006 Yamaha SX230 I had installed the 1st Generation of Cobra Jet Steering Fins, besides being a pain to install with drilling holes, etc. they helped the slow speed steering quite a bit and was well worth the money.
On our new to us 2008 Yamaha SX230 HO, I recently installed the New Cobra Venom Ultimate Steering Fins. I am very impressed with these after taking the boat to the lake yesterday, made the boat steer like a dream, felt like having an outdrive in the water. This is a fantastic product, having used the 1st Gen and now the Ultimate's, night and day difference and money well spent. Thanks Jeff for a well designed and made product.
