2020 Yamaha 242 limited S The last 2 trips out the starboard tachometer did not come on the portIMG_0879.jpeg side is fine. Both motors are starting and running fine. Checked all connections and fuses all ok. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Also anyone know where the engine data connections are??? Is there a way to diagnose the conext system can’t find any info.

Hi Furnace man,
Curious if you ever figured this out? I'm having a similar issue with my port tach.

Is that a "feature" of running in single-throttle mode?

I don't believe so. At one point last season it did pop up a few times when in single throttle mode. But, most the time it stays on the music screen that would take the space in float mode regardless if I'm in single or dual throttle mode. Information is sparse but everything I'm finding leads me to believe that it should display the tach anytime the port engine is running and music anytime it's not.

That makes sense - so boat thinks it's in float mode with one engine on vs. running mode, even though it says running mode. I don't have this screen, I have the smaller version - so dumb question: any chance you can "swipe" that temp to the side and get your tach back?

Not a dumb question, I had the same thought. But no, that doesn't appear to be the case. I'm going to play with it some more this weekend and see if I can find some "hidden" menu somewhere. Not a huge deal, just annoying to not be able to see where the port engine is running.
