I don't think you need a rack on our boats, if you secure the cooler to the grab handle and to the lift eyes under the swim platform it won't go anywhere.Something like this would be more of what I'm looking for.
If you did a rack on the lower portion of the swim deck you could have the rack attach to the table mount on the deck which would prevent the rack from siding horizontally. To prevent the rack for moving vertically it could secured with tie downs to the grab bar and lift eyes under the swim deck, which would then allow the cargo in the rack to be secured to the rack making for easier access when needed.I'm thinking for fuel storage as well I do several long trips a year and several of them have fairly long runs between available fuel. I do these on both the boat and skis so it could be multi purpose for me. It would be nice for me be able to quickly be able to release and re hook the fuel cans with out having to unhook a bunch of straps. For the boat I would prefer to have the fuel on the swim deck then inside the boat with me.
