Covers

All this talk about covers.....each year I think to myself, "Self, will this be the year the cover goes south?" Funny thing is I never get an answer, I suppose when I do that will be the time to worry.

But until then I'll just continue to use this stuff on my cover:

I use it on the bimini too. That's still in great shape too.

But you guys keep all this info flowing. Never know when I'll need to buy one and this is the best source for the best deals.

I used 303 on my cover last year. Stuff worked great and the water runs off it faster than the speed of light. As long as the rain wasn't extreme, then I was good to go. But long lasting rain, or heavy rain, it would look like there was no protection on the cover. Water didn't run off. But the next time a storm comes through, it starts off like I just applied it. However, I'm working if this has more to do with the age of my cover than the 303. My cover is about 4 years old now. It's dusty when I move it around. Think it's time for a new one.
