Anyone ever been in the Craters of the Moon national monument area of Idaho ? Getting ready to take one of our very loosely planned road trip vacations. Gonna head west from IL out though the Badlands probably stop in Yellowstone for a couple of days .Craters of the Moon looks kinda interesting after that, wondering what to expect.From there we will head south to southern Utah, my favorite area , to bum around a while then down to Az to visit family. Just an average 5000 mile trip like we do 1 or 2 times a year, stop whenever something grabs our attention.
