I'm installing a depth gauge and was wondering what the best tool is for cutting a 2" hole in the dash. I'm moving the phone holder over to the right and adding the gauge between the Connext screen and the phone holder. Will a 2" hole saw work okay or will it crack the dash?

Additional question: Is the dash material just plastic?

Didn't crack mine. I used blue painter's tape and let the bit do the work dont use to much force.

Thanks Gunner, that's reassuring. I've already put down the painters tape and mapped it out.
