Dealer service disappointing.......

Man I really hate to hear you didn't get all the TLC we received @Hana. We had the complete opposite of an experience! Our sales guy spent almost 3 hours with us putting us through a detailed orientation and answered a 100 questions. During the orientation showed us how to put on the Bimini top and the premium cover (no small task in either case). They also made it clear during other store visits not to trailer long distance over 45 MPH with the Bimini top canvas installed so I was not surprised the top was not installed yet. As it turns out installing it together was a part of the orientation process...
As a side note, when I recognized you from your profile Pic and introduced myself, we had already been there a good hour before you and later I was surprised that you had already left with your boat long before (perhaps 45 min) we pulled out. I even said to my wife, wow they really got through their orientation a lot faster than we did.

The one big differentiating factor in our experience could be that I signed all the paperwork the Monday evening before and told them I wouldn't be able to pick it up until Saturday afternoon. They agreed because the boat was just off the truck, was not prepped or on the galvanized trailer I ordered yet. Friday they called me and said the boat is ready and asked if I could come in around 9:00 am. When we arrived they were in the process of putting the final touches on a detailed cleaning and waxing, I was honestly surprised the carpet was installed as I was figuring it was optional choice and I would need to snap it in if I wanted to use the carpet. He even helped us pick out all the accessories, anchor, a couple tubes, tow ropes, life jackets, BBQ, fender bumpers, dock lines, lake maps, etc. He recommended (wrote down on paper) his favorite launching ramps that are spacious and easy to use on both Altoona and Lanier, being that I'm new to Atlanta and never been to either lake before.
As a follow-up, first thing Monday morning he called me on his way in and asked how it went, if we had any issues or had any more questions or needed help with anything?
Needless to say, we couldn't be happier with the Kennesaw location and I would strongly recommend them to anyone.

Wow, what a contrast of experience.

When you get the survey in the mail hammer them on it. I did that with my bad service from my dealer and they contacted me in like a week and I got a new mooring cover for my trouble.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience @Hana . I just picked up my boat (2016 ar240) yesterday from Grand Pointe Marina in Lansing and I couldn't have had a better experience. They had the boat ready exactly when they said they would. The boat and trailer were both extremely clean and everything (carpet, bimini, etc.) was in place. I then took the boat on the water with a tech for a sea trial and for him to show me how everything worked and all the pre and post launch procedures, as well as recommendations on care, cleaning and maintenance. He even gave pointers on putting on the cover. Then I was introduced to the service manager and picked up some discounted maintenance items such as yamalube, fuel stabilizer and marine wax. Everything was very well done and professional. They also have VIP service for people who buy from them. They get you in by Monday and out by Friday so no missed weekends. I would definitely recommend them for anyone in the area.

Join the club... Cycle springs in tampa was worse than that for us. This is my last yamaha boat for sure.

I am sorry that the folks who had bad service got such a raw deal; my dealer in NH ( Irwin Marine) gave us fantastic service. The walk thru was very detailed, so much so that I got a little antsy, and the single time I brought the boat back for warranty service for a stereo issue they treated me like I was their most important customer. They routinely sell 6 figure boats, so I was very impressed and will certainly recommend them to anyone.
