Happy 4th to you all!!

I just turned 90 hours and my 242X has been problem free until this last weekend.
My Depth Finder goes into alarm(series of beeps) and say Comm Error. I also think the water temp is tied in with too as that also shows Comm Error. I've tried switching batteries off and on and it still does it. Anyone else dealt with this? I have warranty but hate to pull the boat if I don't have too. And I'd have no problem not having this function for the rest of the season but the alarm is really annoying and it has to be muted every few minutes.
Thanks !!
Mike

My knee jerk reaction is to look at all the connections to make sure they are tight.

My depth sensor when bad due to something chewing the wires. Replaced it with after one.

Good luck and if you love yours like I love mine, take it in for the warranty work
