Is there a way to disable the swim deck radio controls on a 2019 212X?

Kids like to play off the back when anchored off the beach and they occasionally hit the radio knob and crank the volume to full.

There is a cover for the radio but it’s a loose fit and can get knocked off easily.

Duct tape. No no not on the radio controls, on the kids fingers. I would unplug it either at the back of the radio or behind the swimdeck remote.

Haven’t messed around there much but how do you get behind the radio on the swim deck?

Our 2016 (Polk) has a cover that works well for us.

Behind the radio would be up in the cockpit area or behind the remote at the swimdeck. Behind the radio would be easiest as there should be a simple modular plug.

On the 2019s the swim deck is the head unit with the Connext as the remote. Don't think you can unplug it without losing the radio all together.

Ah, didn't realize it was a late model.

My kids do this too but it's on purpose lol

If you had a 2018, just give it some time, the knob will eventually corrode.
