Disappointed

So some magic happened today called wind. I couldn't believe the boat hit 50MPH and I had to take a picture but it went back down and stayed at 49 for quite a while.

Water is what cools the charge in our intercoolers (If the boat is supercharged). That cooler air is denser which makes the combustion more efficient, and it also creates more pressure (boost). This will enable to engine to produce more power thus faster speeds.

I'll just add that I believe one benefit of a jet drive boat, despite their inefficiency, is that their acceleration is not affected by additional weight as much as with other drive setups.

@ScarabMike - what is the relationship with water temp? Less cooling through the ride plate? So if coolant temp is say ~200F, a 20F difference in water temp for example would be a 10% difference in cooling, yeah?

I appreciate all the replys. It was about 85 degrees out and i had 4 adults on it with the bimini up. So 35mph sounds about right.
