That is awesome. @haknslash did you have your weight with people even or off to one side? Looks like you just need a bunch of swim deck weight and center locker weight and it would be good. I would be anxious to try it out!!!

We had one person on the swim deck surf side, one person rear corner bench surf side and one person on bench seat surf side. I was also driving while standing in the middle or leaning surf side. Towards the end of the video I asked Bill to move from the bench to the bow to see what happened to the Wake and it flattened it back down on the surf side. We all felt that it was doing something and that with some water ballast we should hopefully see some good results. I'm anxious to find out and test as soon as I can, maybe this weekend.

Try keeping your weight centered and to the rear and see what happens. That is the big draw to these devices, you are supposed to be evenly weighted and the device will make the wave nice. All in all it looks great and has promise!
I think there is some promise for the 19' boats. We saw a pretty good wave for only 600 lbs of people.
I don't believe we'll see much improvement on a twin engine boat. Especially not the way it would be on a v-drive with even ballast and no list. The formula of lean to the surf side with ballast and the wedge is just so good. But, we'll give it a shot.
As you can see in the picture it also wasn't sticking out from the boat very much. Adjusting the angle of the plate may give even more effect. I'm looking forward to getting in the water behind that boat @haknslash.
@Bill D didn't you say you wanted to check out Lake Mitchell sometime? Wink wink nudge nudge . I can come down to Lake Tuscaloosa again too. BTW I didn't know y'all were going to surf last Sunday or I would have hung around for a bit!

0627 Devildog ... You are right...on mobile with chubby fingers...This is very informative,....on here more than once a day !
Sucks you gotta work Bill. I think I've seen enough to order another ballast bag or two for more testing so won't need to bother borrowing your extra ballast lol
Yesterday I stopped by @Bill D's home on the way to the Bama game and he graciously let me borrow some of his bags and pumps for testing. Thanks again Bill! Hoping to hit the water next Friday to test with plenty of ballast.
