I have a 2016 212x and my gauges do not illuminate.The LCD screen lights up in the gauges, but the analog numbers, nor the needles light up. Are they supposed to?
 
at night yes... ONLY if you turn on the NAV light

I just went out and checked...Sure enough they work. What a relief, I was looking to replace or modify a backlight into them.
