Engine Compartment Sound Proofing

The factory sound proofing on my 2007 SX230 is about 1/3 missing and the rest is in poor shape. Needs replaced. Curious what others have used and what kind of results they got.

Glad to have you on board, what part of Houston are you in ( I grew up in Humble) , where do you normally boat ?

I did it more for cosmetic than sound insulation,

You can check the FAQ at the top of the page for sound deadening ideas or do a search of member "swatski"s, he's probably had the best sound deadening results but with a lot of application.
