Engine starts within 1 to 2 seconds on the first try but the oil pressure light comes on. After I run the engine for a few minutes and cut the engine off it takes the engine around 20 or so seconds to start and the oil pressure light goes off not sure why there is such a long delay for the engine to start. It takes the engine this amount of time to start for the rest of the day the other engine starts right up every time thanks for any help.

Does the oil pressure light stop flashing after you finally get it restarted and ran for awhile? Obviously check your oil level and air filters. Change your spark plugs if you haven’t done so, they are pretty finicky in our boats.

Yes, the oil pressure light goes off after I restart. Thanks
