What’s up team. I Need assistance
2012, 242 limited S
Week 1 —starboard engine would crank, crank, crank and would not start. Took it home and Let it sit for a week. Added gas and Put new spark plugs on both engines and the engine fired right up.
Week 2 —both engines running perfect no issues. Top speed 53mph. Sweet!!
Week 3–while in the water port side engine encountered same situation as week 1- would crank, and would not start. I Let it sit 30 minutes and fired back up. Made it to the dock no issues while full throttle. For several weeks This has been happening between both engines back and fourth.
Currently both engines are firing up and running fine. But yesterday had the same issues on both engines. First the port then 2 hours later the starboard side. Again let them sit for 30 minutes and fired up.
Figured it was bad fuel pump at first but it’s hard to believe both have gone bad at the same time. Could it possibly be something in the tank shifting from side to side blocking the lines. Removing fuel pump and looking in the tank tomorrow !
Any suggestions
