I have a 2018 Chapparal 223 vrx. Twin 200 hp rotax engines. Got a ereverse module signal and the port engine would not start. I replaced the relays in the port side fuse box, and the engine started right up. However, still receiving the ereverse code. Amy ideas and or help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks to all

The ereverse error sadly seems to be a catch all type of error. It's very possible your reverse bucket has an issue, but it could just as easily be battery failing. It's hard to track. You'll need to check each thing thoroughly. But I'd start with the battery, wiring, and checking to ensure your reverse bucket moves correctly.

Thanks. New batteries. Should the reverse bucket move freely in neural?

No. Have someone else shift your boat to forward, neutral and reverse while you check it at the back. The buckets should move completely up in forward, half cover the jet nozzles in neutral and completely cover them in reverse.

If you're doing this outside of water, and decide to run the engine, make sure to follow proper flushing procedures and not to exceed 2 min run time. Ideally keep it under a min.

Thank you! I'll try that when I have an extra set of hands.

The other thing to check is inside your engine bay, there's a mechanical portion that moves when you do this to control the bucket. Make sure it's not bent.

Your help is great. I will keep you posted! Thanks again!!!

And in case you don't know, your boat shares the same engine parts as the Scarab brand. Search that part of the forum to find other useful info.
