I totally didn't even think to look jetboaters.net up on Facebook... Saw it mentioned in another thread and joined the group. I wonder how many other people lurk here and don't realize there's a Facebook group as well. .

That's what I was thinking...at least everyone here is interested in hearing about my boat. And I also get knowledge on how to care for my boat. On my facebook, many people probably don't care, or just want to get on my boat to bum a ride.

Since I don't use Facebook, this is my alternative..I've been in the computer industry since 1981, but to this day don't understand the Facebook/Twitter fascination. I know a lot of people enjoy it and that's great. Just not my thing..

I joined Facebook just to keep up with the exchange student we had from Switzerland. Then I started looking up friends to keep up with them. I can truthfully say that everyone that I have as "friends" I actually know.
