Purchased the factory wake tower that comes on the 195 Impulse wholesale and the local dealer won't install it. Good times. So has anyone installed one yet!? Couldn't justify spending $40k+ on an impulse nor $4200 for tower from dealer. Spent $1600 on tower shipped to the door but have to install it. Also I ordered Rockford Fosgate M282's but not sure if they'll mount on the factory brackets but time will tell because they'll all arrive in the next few days. Help? Suggestions?

Measure twice, measure twice more...drill once. Be sure to add proper hull reinforcement.
It's not very hard. I've done it alone (bigger boat, bigger tower) using a hoist to help position the tower.
Another set of hands makes it that much easier.
Have fun, be safe.

What would be the proper hull reinforcement? Sounds like I have one shot at this and I certainly have patience and am particular so I'm half way there just need some advice/education...

I am interested in this thread as I am considering doing the same thing

Update. Ordered tower off EBay... Took 4 hours and 3 people to install. half the time was measurements and writing / re-writing a drill diagram. Not much room for error because on the 195 the rear points of towers base literally cradle the edge of the fiberglass before it slopes down. EyeBallConstruction came out victorious. I also had a 3/16" metal plate to go as another form of reinforcement. All seems well and it came out perfect. Now it's time for wake tower clips, speakers and more amps! If you need help or have questions let me know!
