uggg. i need help.
2017 scarab 255 wake
i have fish line stuck around impellor
i cut all the lines one by one through the grate (with a improvised blade) i pulled some free with long needle nose. some are wrapped to tight. i know we arnt suppose to take the grate off but if i hook up my flush kit and the impellor moves it could losen some of the cut lines. right?. i have no dealer representation here in so cal and other dealers refuse to help me since they dont sell scarb.

Maybe? But honestly, do the right thing and pull the nozzle/bucket/pump assembly. It takes about 15 min with basic tools once you have experience. Well worth learning to do and you'll do a much better job! Plus, you'll be able to do it quickly next time. Here's the video:

Different boat, same system and steps.

I agree with Luc. Once you learn how to remove the impeller, it is fast and easy. It will be 100x less frustrating and annoying than pulling the grate. It also presents a great opportunity to grease the driveshaft splines.
