has anyone foamed their anchor locker to keep the anchor from banging around? If so what did you do?

Thanks,
Mark

I purchased rubber/foam mats and cut them to line the locker. It does well in keeping the interior from getting beat up.

Something like a yoga mat, or thicker?

Thicker, I'm sorry but I can't remember where I got it! Maybe Home Depot

Lowes or Home Depot Anti Fatigue mats. They sell them in four packs, interlocking. Easy to cut and shape.

you can get the anti-fatigue mats at Harbor Freight too, for $7.99 in this link http://www.harborfreight.com/4-piece-anti-fatigue-foam-mat-set-94635.html But I could swear I paid less than $5 for them just a month or so ago. I have bought them at HD and Lowes for years and used them to pad my anchors for shipping when I made them, as well as what they were designed for in my shop, and to pad my own anchor locker too. Just use 3M spray adhesive and cut to fit.
